The VivaLeVOX LP won't be happening anymore. Instead we'll be releasing a Paperdolls/VivaLeVOX split 7". The record is at the pressing plant as we speak. No dates are set for release yet. Come back for updates.

There are gears being turned but at a very slow pace. You maybe noticed the website is fairly new. We'll be posting mp3s and such in the band pages soon.

The Insurgent Me 9 song EP CDr "Sometimes It's Not What You Create That Gives You The Answer..But What You Destroy" is out now. Full lyric booklet and spray stenciled CDr. Also Incest Records' 1st sampler tape PAMPER SAMPLER is out as well. We screened some trash-board for cases and put 5 songs on a clear-blue 12 minute tape. We'll send one with anything you order. or send a couple of bucks for postage to 219 NE 20th St. Miami, Fl. 33137 and I'll make sure you get one.

INCEST RECORDS NEEDS A VOLUNTEER
We are looking for someone regionally (South Florida) to help out with the website, and some other things. We can talk details later but it will only require a few hours of your time a week so if your into being involved in a no-profit independent label just send us an e-mail to cesspool AT incestrecords DOT org with the subject volunteer. Now for some updates. Paperdolls is setting up an east coast tour beggining May 20th - May 21st. We'll have the dates up soon so keep checking on it, or sign up for the Incest Records mailing list and we'll let you know. I guess I should've said "update" not "updates". I just realized I've got nothing else to say. Until I do then.

I spent the last couple days after work pressing buttons to get the website to look like this. I think it's visually easy on the face now. Still Just your basic website. Some parts are still empty and stupid but it'll come together soon. And please sign up to the Incest Records mailing list. don't worry we won't bother you too much.

One More Reason Not To Come To Florida Compilation #2 is in the works (in our heads). Partly because we can't think of any other titles. Mostly because it's about fuckin time! This time it's not going to be strictly acoustic. There's so much great shit coming out of Florida right now and we want it all!

Hey! We updated the the mp3 player, adding "The Automatons" (members of 'Gods Dick' & 'Paperdolls'), and "Insurgent Me" (ex 'Monday Morning Mix-Tape'). "The Automatons" aren't around anymore but since the past has been randomly kind to us, it's something worth appreciating. With the bands consent we've been reprinting them for the past year. The 7 song cdr, is available on our distro for $3 or trade. I've also updated the Paperdolls website a bit; you can download 2 demo tracks and read the lyrics for our upcoming and first release. In better news! Paperdolls just in from our Boston/New York trip. Thanks to Jim and the Time to Opporate music collective for hooking us up with good memories and a great show. We were also honored to play at the Lucy Parsons Center with some great music makers and for a good cause. Thanks alot to Evan Greer and the Boston radical community for the kind words and the coffee. We'll see you all real soon.

In other news: Section802 will not be playing on Saturday at Churchills Pub due to more promoter "confusion" and the show being canceled and all(assholes!). Friday will still be kickin at The Firefly though with Merkit, Eztorbo Social, Agrocragg, Le Fantome, Gorilla Pussy and more. Paperdolls will be playing on Sunday with Raffa & Rainer, Dirty Fist, Dick Alley, Porche and more at Bicentennial Park to benefit Miami Food Not Bombs. Today...a bunch of people died 6 years ago, more have died since and tomorrow more will die. I'm pretty sure I have it coming too. Don't mourn excuses and let's focus on change. Don't fear death but the alternative we're left with. The music that we make is not just for the sake of making music. It's a way to be heard, it's a way to draw attention to the story-line. Once the plot thickens our voices must grow louder. If your only in it for the entertainment. Go fuck yourself!! Self reliance and community is the ultimate goal, and then punk won't be just another poorly drawn flyer under the guise of d.i.y with corporate sponsorship. It becomes the rest of the story. As for the end...well, we all know what happens then.
